Chanya Godzich Elakkad
Founder
Chanya is a business-savvy biomedical engineer and entrepreneur. Her professional background includes management, purchasing, and sales experience - obtained prior to pursuing her BS in Bioengineering from UCLA and MSE in Bioengineering Innovation and Design from Johns Hopkins. Chanya leverages this non-traditional combination to bridge the worlds of business, engineering and medicine.
Dr. E. James Wright
Founder
Jamie is a world-renown reconstructive urologist, Chief of Urology and Director of Reconstructive and Neurourology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Through his 20+ years of experience treating urethral stricture, he recognized a need for effective minimally invasive repair strategies - lacking a technical solution. Jamie is committed to a bench to bedside approach to innovation and positive impact on patient's lives.
Teja Maruvada
Founder
Teja is a highly skilled mechanical and biomedical engineer, with over 5 years of medical device innovation experience. Teja obtained his BEng in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay and his clinically immersive MSE in Bioengineering Innovation and Design from Johns Hopkins. Teja leverages his diverse experience to bridge the gap between technical innovation and clinical application and design.
